ABOUT
Nikoletta Gjoni is a fiction and creative nonfiction
writer living in the Washington D.C. area. Her work has
appeared in numerous literary magazines and received
award nominations. Her debut collection of linked stories touches
on the daily struggles, both large and small, of Albanians living
under an isolationist communist dictator. She is currently at work
on her first novel that centers on the life of a fictional
Albanian burrnesha, or sworn virgin.
Gjoni loves all things creepy, mythical, historical, and honest.
