Hello,
I am an award-nominated writer, editor, and workshop facilitator living in the Washington D.C. area. My work has appeared in numerous literary magazines, both in print and digital, and have been nominated for the Robert J. Dau short story prize, Best of the Net, and Best Microfiction. While I love perfecting the craft of short fiction, and especially flash fiction, I am currently at work on my first novel that centers on the life of a fictional Albanian burrnesha or sworn virgin. As an editor, I love working with writers of all backgrounds who are seeking to polish their short stories, full-length manuscripts, query letters, and more. Read some of my pieces, check out my editing services, or reach out if you’d like to learn more about generative workshops.
My guilty pleasures and overall aesthetics? I love all things creepy, mythical, historical, and honest.
Writing is a kind of revenge against circumstance too: bad luck, loss, pain. If you make something out of it, then you've no longer been bested by these events.
